For Pastors & Leaders

Partnering with Pastors: Support for You and Your Church or Ministry

We offer biblically based, Christ-centered support designed to complement your ministry. We're here not only for those in your congregation but for you and your pastoral team as well. Our focus goes beyond addressing immediate struggles—we’re dedicated to fostering long-term growth and maturity in Christ. Together, we aim to develop followers of Jesus who walk in obedience, love, compassion, and courage, equipping them for a lifetime of faithful discipleship.

Biblical Perspective

Every session is designed to align with the Bible. Scripture provides the foundation against which everything is measured, while the Holy Spirit leads the process of transformation.

We believe true growth comes through genuine encounters with the Spirit of Christ—experiences that bring healing, conviction, and lasting change, always in harmony with Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17), fostering authentic transformation bringing us closer to the heart of the Father.

Stop Burnout: Embracing God’s Heart for You

Compassion fatigue is a burden many pastors and leaders carry, often feeling the pressure to give without rest. But God’s heart for you is not exhaustion—it’s transformation. He desires for you to live in His peace and joy, not just for a season, but in a lasting way that impacts every area of your life.

We provide a space for you to encounter the Holy Spirit and experience deep, permanent transformation. It’s not always an easy road, but it’s the narrow path that leads to true, lasting growth. You, your team, and your family were created to thrive, reflecting God’s love and grace in all you do. Let us walk alongside you as you embrace the fullness of life God has for you.

Helping Hands

Committing to the Journey

We believe lasting transformation requires time and intentional commitment. That’s why we ask everyone to commit to a minimum of five sessions. It’s not a quick fix, but an invitation to engage deeply with the Holy Spirit as He reveals the doors in your heart that He’s knocking on.

This process is about becoming more aware of the areas where God is calling you to respond and grow. We walk with you on this journey, trusting that God will do the work of transformation when your heart is postured to respond. Through consistent engagement, you’ll experience deeper healing and growth that aligns with His will for your life.

This ministry has resulted in what our church believes in: people personally experiencing the nowness of God.
— Shane Holden | First Free Church
Steve Freitag serves with an open hand and an open heart. He is an authentic and engaging teacher who understands that the Kingdom of God is about giving power to the hurting, the poor, and oppressed. People feel safe with him to recall their deepest hurts and identify the false beliefs connected to the pain. His gentle approach encourages a willingness for a personal encounter with Jesus leading to lasting healing and genuine freedom.
— John Henry | Founder - YWAM Student Mobilization Centre
I recommend every person desiring personal strength, sustainable freedom and emotional health to consider CrossCounsel as a transformational tool in their journey.

How We Can Help

Small Group Sessions

Our small group sessions are some of the most precious times that we share. These allow for an open forum, teaching on the principles of healing, and how communities can be changed by taking the painful places of our lives to the Lord for His truth.

Saturday Orientation

Many pastors we work with prefer us to come to their church and facilitate an orientation of the principles. We’ll cover everything your congregants need to know in order to really grasp the concepts and start looking for healing. Some pastors refer congregants to CrossCounsel after we’ve spoken as a way to help them deal with the emotional issues keeping them bound.

Keynote/Speaking

For pastors, navigating people through their negative emotions can be confusing and draining. We teach people where emotions come from and how they can be used to bring about spiritual growth and a deeper friendship with the Father. Let’s discuss the best way to bring this empowering teaching to your people.

If you’re a leader outside of the church, we’re happy to engage with your organization to help you understand the principles and see lasting change in your team and the community that you serve.
